Monday 21 Feb and Monday 28 Feb will see works to dig a trial pit at the base of the greenwall site take place. The pit is being dug so that King's Cross Community Projects can see what the soil is like and if there are any structural or other reasons why they can't plant directly into the ground.

If they can plant into the ground they'll be able to make the planting much more robust and sustainable. If they can't, the scrulpture that will form the framework for the greenwall will need a larger bespoke irrigation irrigation system than they are hoping for. Please wish them luck!
