Protests expected at King’s Place – Tuesday 24 Nov 1700 to 1900.

10nov10protest-millbank Those of us who live in York Central on York Way at Crinan Street were alerted to the likelihood of student protests taking place on Tuesday afternoon.  Apparently the Deputy PM, Nick Clegg will be being interviewed at the headquarters of the Guardian in King's Place around 6 PM.

We will be battening down the hatches, other locals should be advised to avoid the area as I expect there will be traffic chaos.

I’ll be there supporting the students… just when I was despairing that our students seemed apathetic they go and put on some very healthy protests, excellent!

Good on the students. I hope they get the message across to Clegg loud and clear.

Worth a little traffic chaos, I think.
