Has anyone noticed No. 6 walking around King’s Cross

Looking out over the Railway Lands today, I noticed a series of balloons tethered above the site.  Does anyone have any idea as to their purpose.  Could they be possible building heights for the proposed development.  Or, do they have a more sinister purpose…keeping an eye out for a wayward No. 6?

    Balloons are from Argent
“Creatmosphere, sponsored by Argent, will install a number of large balloons above the King’s Cross Central site reflecting the scale and excitement of change in the area.
Start at the German Gymnasium on St Pancras Road to pick up information and be directed to the interpretation points.”

I understand that the ballons are part of a marketing eventthat was being being run by Argent on Wednesday this week. They had people (developers or people involved in property development) visting the site and I assume they wanted to highlight where particular buildings might be located. I don’t think that the height of the balloons had any relationship to the possible height of buildings, they were just location markers. The ballons are due to come down today or tomorrow.

For your information, Argent has now established a helpline number to deal with any queries relating to their development. We have only just been notified this week and I don’t think that they have started publicising it yet, akthough it is fully functioning. It will be going up on hoardings in the near future. I beileve that it only operates when contractors are working. The number is 0800 328 8840
