Our neighbours The Guardian have launched an experimental mobile app for iPhone and Android, inspired by King’s Cross.
The free mobile app – ‘King’s Cross, London – Streetstories’ is an immersive audio walking guide with a difference; as users walk through the streets of King’s Cross, the app will automatically activate sounds, music and stories relevant to their GPS location.

Good idea! But too bad I have Nokia Symbian, would love to check what they say about the South of Kings Cross – Clare you have an I phone? I would much rather have The Guardian give a helping hand to Calthorpe Project, Thomas Coram, Kate Greenaway, St George’s and some other projects recently hit by less or no funding.
It works on Android as well, so not restricted to an iPhone
