My favourite convenience food chain Leon is to open in the new Kings Cross station glass blister next month, 18 March according to the FT. Leon has gone into partnership with HMSHost to extend the Leon footprint as a franchise.  Let’s hope they keep a tight grip on quality control – I’ve always found Leon’s food to be excellent.  Leon’s partner runs motorway service stations and airport food outlets in the USA and they have hired a former Burger King executive but I’ll judge it in the eating – might speed service up.
