Eat pancakes for local children’s charity CYP on Pancake Day

Cyp pancake benefitIf you are looking for an excuse to scoff some panckaes on Tuesday then head down Grays Inn road to La Scampa on Theobalds Road – for every pancake you eat 50 pence will be donated to CYP.

CYP is a vital force in guiding young people in the Caledonian Road area.  They reach out to large numbers of young people and give them constructive things to do in the sometimes bleak Kings Cross environment.

In the last financial year (2008-2009) CYP:

• worked with 476 individual young people
• in 4,706 attendances
• over 340 sessions
• Age range: 6- 21 years old

If you want to donate in a fat-free, safe and secure way with no commission through the co-opbank click on the donate now image below or click here.  I was delighted to see recently that Thornhill Square Residents Association has donated £2,000 to CYP.
