Pentonville prison – guard charged with mobile phone offences

Pentonville

Pentonville is a looming neighbour for all of us and a major part of the community – the prison officers, prisoners families etc are staples of Cally Road businesses.  We have reported on problems at the Ville on the Cally before but here's the latest from Islington police:

'Lisa Lynette HARRIS (31.10.81 – 27 ys) of Essex (MPD-area) appears at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on bail on 1 October charged with 3 counts of wilful misconduct in a public office – i.e. conveying two mobile phones into a prison, and knowing an inmate was in possession of a mobile and having contact with him via that mobile.'
