A replacement for our old mini-post office…well maybe, better decide for yourself!

Interpostbox

When the mini-post office at Caledonian Road and Wharfdale Road closed, many folks were annoyed that now, the closest place to mail a package was the large post office on the Euston Road.  Well now there is an alternative a bit closer on Caledonian Road, just below Caledonian Street (just south of Tesco) – The Interpostbox Store.

Several local people have now reported that they were quite satisfied with the services on offer.  While not the same as an "official post office, the services seem to do the trick for most of your regular needs.

Why not check them out yourself and leave a comment on the Bulletin Board so your neighbours will know the pros and cons of this new place.

  1. I have used the Interpost Store store several times now – so far it has been really fast and efficient, with someone to pack stuff up for you, and the price has been just a few pence higher than the old superslow post office.

I have also used them a few times and the biggest benefits I have found are:
    – near
    – friendly service
    – there has never been a queue (perhaps this will change if they become popular!)
    – store is nicer than Post Offices (no glass barriers, clean and modern)

I run a small business in the King’s Cross area, and was really pleased to see the opening of InterPostBox. Finally, a place that could cater for all my needs, such as photocopying, packaging etc. I used the facilities a few times and found the service to be satisfactory if a little expensive. However, on a visit just over a month ago, I was treated so rudely and dismissively that my business will not be purchasing any services from InterPostBox again. I wrote to InterPostBox asking for an explanation as to whether they wanted to treat customers this way, but have not received a reply. It’s a real shame because I have a real need for the services on offer.

I just used them to send a bike to France. Really excellent. And great staff.

Used Interpostbox a few times in the past and never been let down.
The staff is very charming and friendly and always ready to help and with a smile on their faces which is something that nowadays you cannot find very often.
The store does look very nice clean and tidy and most importantly there is no need to queue for hours like at the post office.
    Thumbs up!!
