Apparently the folks at BP think that it’s important to help motorists obtain beer and spirits more easily. What other reason could they have for seeking a Premises License (ability to sell alcohol) for their filling station at the intersection of Good’s Way and York Way.
Personally, I don’t think this is a good idea!
Surely there are already sufficient places in the neighbourhood to buy booze and I don’t believe it’s responsibe behavior to make it easier for drivers to to get "tanked" up in more ways then one. If you agree, I would suggest your telling the authorities at Camden Council that you object to this application.
