King’s Cross Springwatch

Minibill_2Yep, it’s very nearly Bill Oddie Springwatch time again… So far I’ve noticed a coot carrying a twig three times it’s size in an attempt to build a nest near St Pancras Lock, a pair of Great Tits picking up leaves, a female Blackbird looking daft with sprigs of grass hanging out of its beak, Starlings going generally crazy and the return of a Goldfinch to Battlebridge Basin. I’m looking forward to dusting off the camera now, hoping to get some good pictures of wildlife waking up in and around King’s Cross. So how about joining me? Wouldn’t it be great to give Bill a run for his money? Get your camera out and about and send your local wildlife images to springwatchkingscross@cookie.org.uk. We’ll put your images up on this site… Go for it!
