The Rest of the World
‘We are isolated. We travel the globe without moving. A boy cannot leave his room. A woman continues to be hurt. Jim waits for Maggie. We text our intentions. Skin cannot accept sun. There are still grey office blocks, and filing, and lying. Jim waits for Maggie. Kat pays Terry to beat him; men continue to be hurt. I Instant Message Death. Jim waits for Maggie. It is 2011.’
