Ok, so this picture is actually me own back garden – but it’s yet another method of vertical gardening not just an excuse to get a piccy of my own garden up!

Another LB Islington contact has sent in this link to a supplier of specialist steel rope to guide climbing plants – this is likely to be the way we go with the wall if we get permission: www.mma.gb.com
And a post graduate journalism student at City University has contacted us. She will be concentrating on writing artcles about Calendonian Ward and wants to feature the green wall project.
I have written to the owners of Lighterman House, 26-36 Wharfdale Rd, as it appears that they own the wall itself. I remain hopeful that they will give permission as they have shown their green credentials by incorporating a green roof into the soon to be completed refurbishment of Lighterman House. So, not assuming anything, but here’s hoping…
