Safer Neighbourhoods Policing Team – Sept News

Clip_image002 Our Safer Neighbourhoods Police Team has created a new newsletter to keep local folks appraised of the staus of policing in the Caledonian Ward.  It is my intention to continually post a copy here for all to revew as I receive it.

I will suggest to the Team that they email it to interested residents, so if you wish to receive a copy on an ongoing basis, you should drop them a note at: caledonian.snt@met.police.uk

Just click this link for a copy of the current newsletter: Download safer_neighbourhoods_1.pdf

This newsletter seems like an excellent idea.

I’m actually completely new to London, just moved down from Scotland to a new place on Gifford Street. I’m still trying to get my bearings as far as safe places to go are concerned.

Is King’s Cross/Islington a good area to stay? I’ve heard mixed reviews in general, especially due to the anti social behaviour this side of Caledonian Road. I have to say though that, as yet, I haven’t witnessed any. That said, I’m still a little unsure where is ‘safe’ to go at night around the Gifford Street area.

Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated.
