I have put out some bird feeders in Bingfield Park to encourage some wildlife.  There are three squirrels that occasionally raid the bird feeders (see here).  I even saw one up a tree with a baguette it had stolen.I put up a hanging table on a two metre line hoping the squirrel wouldn’t clamber down it.  Anyway – see the film by clicking below or going here.  I might have to buy one of these….

UPDATE
The squirrel has obviously been to an internet cafe on the Cally Road, seen itself on film, not liked it and wrought revenge.  This morning mr squirrel had gnawed through the triple core telephone wire securing the bird table to the tree and the table was on the floor.  In a possibly misguided escalation i have rehung the now battered bird table using garden wire – which is tougher.  Next time will get squirrel to sign a video release form to see if that calms him down.
