Lisa Tang has reported a new, apparently upmarket cafe in the area Harringtons Fresh (click for website) on Wicklow Street just off the Grays Inn Road round the back of St Chad’s place (map). It looks very promising with a French inspired menu and Alex there is offering 10% off to anyone who cites this website before Easter. They also do corporate catering. It’s a shame they didn’t open in Regents Quarter. Presumably RQ only want large chains (judging by the shops so far) and are putting the rent out of the range of new startups.
Acorn House. Near Harrington’s Fresh is The Acorn House. New Eco / Ethical training restaurant. Just down Grays Inn Rd on the corner of Swinton St. We had diiner last night and wow! Very good food and packed. £45 a head + wine.
